Daylight Again is the seventh album by Crosby, Stills & Nash, and their fourth studio album comprising original material. It peaked at on the Billboard 200 albums chart, the final time the band has made the top ten to date.

Although Crosby, Stills & Nash had, in effect, been together for well over a decade when Daylight Again (1982) was issued, it was only their third studio long-player of concurrently new material. Initially, the project began as a collaborative effort between Stephen Stills () and Graham Nash (cussion/vocals), as David Crosby was descending into a self-induced state of perpetual drug dependency

Initially, the project began as a collaborative effort between Stephen Stills () and Graham Nash (cussion/vocals), as David Crosby was descending into a self-induced state of perpetual drug dependency. The disc concludes with Stills' lone solo composition on the album – a two-part track marrying the newly penned Civil War elegy to a chorus of the 1970 anthem "Find the Cost of Freedom. Again, Crosby's absence is noted with the incorporation of Art Garfunkel's vocals where Crosby's should have been. Daylight Again is by no means as insipid as their next studio effort, Live It Up (1990).

I got the album "Daylight Again" back then and I must say that I thought that this was a pretty decent album. C, S & N (& Y) were really big when they first started out back around 1969-1970, but aside from their 1977 hit "Just A Song Before I Go", I hadn't heard much from them until this 1982 comeback album of sorts. They've always been a classic with their beautiful harmonies & late 1960's counter-culture vibe, so it was nice to see them come back with this refreshingly good album .
