A Christmas Album (1967) is the first Christmas album released by Barbra Streisand. The album is one of Streisand's best-selling albums and is ranked as one of the best-selling Christmas albums of all time. The cover photograph of the album was taken on June 16, 1967, during the rehearsal for her concert, A Happening in Central Park. The album is also Streisand's last album to use Columbia's "Stereo 360 sound" banner, and the last to be issued originally in monaural and stereo

Barbra Streisand seemed an "overnight" superstar when she released this debut LP in 1963; two weeks after its release, Streisand was America's best-selling female singer. and the rest, as they say, is history. The truth, however, is that Streisand was already a singing sensation in Greenwich Village clubs like Bon Soir and the Blue Angel. Simply put, perhaps the greatest singer debut album in history. The uniqueness of that voice, the simplicity of the vocals and depth of interpretation, the great orchestrations of Peter Matz, and the most eclectic songs - even the ones where you scratch your head and say, "Why that?" are so fresh and alive here that they sound like whole other songs.

Memories (Barbra Streisand album). Memories is an album released by Barbra Streisand in 1981. It is primarily a compilation of previously released material, but includes three newly recorded songs. The album was certified 5 Platinum by the RIAA, reaching number 10 on the US albums chart. First released on Columbia, it was re-released under the CBS imprint in 1981 with four additional tracks.
