Save Me is the third studio album recorded by the Richmond, Virginia, based Pat McGee Band. It is a marked departure from the band's previous records as the familiar acoustic guitars and three part harmonies were eschewed in favor of a more raw, electric sound. Four tracks were produced in California with Marti Frederiksen, who had collaborated on their writing. The remainder of the album was laid down in Avatar Studios during late 2003. Records version of Save Me was released on April 6, 2004. It was at once both praised and criticized by long-term fans of the band. Beautiful Ways" was the lead single from the album and was released to radio in July; it failed to break into the Billboard Hot 100 but climbed as high as on the Billboard adult top 40 chart.

Listen to albums and songs from Pat McGee Band. McGee sings in a light, casual voice somewhat reminiscent of Bruce Hornsby's, delivering vague (though generally positive) lyrics and pleasantly anonymous melodies.
His self-titled debut album was released in 1976, and featured bassist Peter "Mars" Cowling, who would become a mainstay in Travers' band for several years. An appearance on the German TV show Rockpalast in November 1976 was later released on DVD under the title Hooked on Music. This performance showcases an early version of Travers' band featuring Cowling and drummer Nicko McBrain. Pat Travers is the debut rock album by Pat Travers
