KC and the Sunshine Band is the second studio album by KC and the Sunshine Band. The record was produced by Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch and was released in July 1975 on the TK label. KC and the Sunshine Band contains two of the group's biggest hits, "That's the Way (I Like It)" and "Get Down Tonight". Both songs reached no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the R&B Singles Chart. The album was remastered and reissued with bonus tracks in 2012 by Big Break Records.

The Painter is the eighth studio album by the funk and disco group KC and the Sunshine Band. Produced by Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch, it was released in September 1981 on the Epic label. The Painter, like its predecessor, was not successful, as the band turned to a more pop-focused music. A notable track on this album is the ballad "All Through the Night". The song was co-written by Bruce Roberts and Donna Summer, and was first recorded by Summer for her 1979 album Bad Girls.
