Allan Edwall (1924-1997), Swedish actor, director and song-writer from Jämtland. Edwall was an anarchist who wrote songs in a plump, folkly maner, with an obvious tone of leftwing-politics. His singing is a still half-talk, half melody thing, which breaks in the more "grandiouse" parts. His first studio album was "Grovdoppa", which was released in 1979. He then released 3 more albums "Färdknäpp" (1981), "Gnällspik" (1982) and "Vetahuteri" (1984).
