Rise Up is a studio album by British pop singer Cliff Richard, released on 23 November 2018 by Vox Rock and Warner Music. It is Richard's first album of new material in 14 years (following 2004's Something's Goin' On). The album follows Richard's legal battle with the BBC, and he has said of the album's title, "I chose 'Rise Up' as the title track because after the bad period I went through in my life, I've managed to rise up out of what seemed like a quagmire".

The light entertainer’s first album of new material for 14 years is a bet-hedging hotch-potch of styles and ideas, featuring – brace yourself – another Christmas song. Times change, tastes shift, stuff that was once thought irredeemably naff is re-evaluated, but somehow Cliff Richard remains perennially unhip. He was one of a handful of British rock’n’rollers whose early releases were raw enough to bear comparison with the records coming out of the US, but his work is still seen as strictly the province of blue-rinsed Daily Express readers.

Rise is the eighth studio album by American Christian rock band Skillet. It was released on June 25, 2013.

The veteran singer announced his new LP 'Rise Up' this week. Sir Cliff Richard has spoken about how his newly-announced album ‘Rise Up’ will address the bad period I went through in my life. Richard’s upcoming new record will be his first collection of new songs to be released for over 14 years. The album follows the singer’s long but victorious legal battle with the BBC after it was reported back in 2014 that he was being investigated over historical child sexual assault claims

A: Jazz/House. Peerless beats by Ron Trent and sublime jazz flute by Richard Worth. Subtle breathy vocal gives an extra quality. Frankly outstanding. Only curiosity is after the second beakdown the volume of the track drops off as if it's about to fade out but prolongs at that level for the considerable remainder. Just your mix done in time. [GOLDTEN]B: Jazz/House. Live version of the A-side. The are subtle tweaks to the arrangement but losing the flute is not only lacking in subtlety but detremental. While in the main the track holds up because of the supporting cast it feels too flat even with it's live spin. possibly in isolation it mightscore better but versus the flip it suffers. [EIGHT]
