Album The Complete Motown Singles Vol. 3: 1963. I'm On The Outside Looking In Lyrics. I never missed you 'til you were gone Now it's me who's all alone Sometimes from a distance, I see you holding hands Just wanna reach out and touch you but I lost my chance I'm on the outside looking in (From the outside) Wishing it was me you love once again I should have told you that I loved. you I should have told you.

Edward "Eddie" Holland Jr. (born October 30, 1939) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Holland was born in Detroit, Michigan. Although he was an early Motown artist who recorded minor hit singles such as "Jamie", he started working behind the scenes due to stage fright.

Outside Looking In" is the debut single by American singer Jordan Pruitt. It was recorded for the Disney Channel Original Movie Read It and Weep in 2006. While there was no soundtrack album for the film, the song released as a single to promote it. The song is also included on Pruitt's debut album No Ordinary Girl. The song debuted (and ultimately peaked) at number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100 in mid-February 2007, the highest debut of that week.

It took a Belgian recording company to finally release a complete collection of Eddie Holland recordings. Motown only released one album on Holland, and it didn't contain many of his better recordings; United Artists never released an album on Eddie Holland. The compilers only missed "You Deserve What You Get," the follow-up to "Jamie," but did include "Welcome Back," an unissued Motown recording, and many hard-to-find United Artists cuts. The sound quality is poor, especially on "Everybody's Going," which is virtually unplayable  . I'm on the Outside Looking In. Eddie Holland.
