Jeff Eubank is not a boner. A cursory read of the lyrics, printed in full in the space surrounding Mr. Eubank on the back cover artwork, more or less confirms this. They are literate and poetic without giving the reader anything to laugh at. At this point, any smart record digger will pull this particular title. A cursory needle drop may or may not reveal the album's potential.

Kansas City-based singer-songwriter Jeff Eubank offered a version for cocktail lounges of Crosby Stills & Nash's ethereal folk-rock on his only album A Street Called Straight (1983 - Yoga, 2008 - Drag City, 2010), containing the jazzy ballads Feels Like Me, Adolescent Daydream and Kamikaze Pilot. He sounds like a vastly less inspired Gordon Lightfoot in For Your Return and a vastly less competent Joni Mitchell in Seventeen On The Planet. Translation by/ Tradotto da xxx). Truth is the debut album by Jeff Beck, released in 1968 in the United Kingdom on Columbia Records and in the United States on Epic Records. It introduced the talents of his backing band the Jeff Beck Group, specifically Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, to a larger audience, and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200. After leaving the Yardbirds in late 1966, Jeff Beck had released three commercial singles, two in 1967 featuring himself on lead vocals, and one without vocals in 1968
