My Woman, My Woman, My Wife is a 1970 studio album by Dean Martin, arranged by John Bahler, Glen D. Hardin and Billy Strange. Martin was recording infrequently at this stage of his career, recording for only two days every spring to produce a new album and otherwise recording an occasional singles session.

Ruhlmann criticized Martin's lack of emotional commitment to the lyrics of the title song, and of Bowen and Martin's collaboration adds that "Martin obliged, and Bowen provided his usual Nashville sound-style production.

His recording of ‘My Woman My Woman My Wife’ became popular on both sides of the Atlantic, even drawing praise from the song’s writer, Marty Robbins. Further trips to the USA followed until, sadly for him, both Granite and Youngblood ceased record production, leaving him without a label in either country. Stevens had continued to play the British clubs, first with his band Silver Mist, then with Pat and Roger Johns, before eventually appearing with his two sons Stuart (bass guitar) and Steven (keyboards). He also opened his own recording studios and worked on production with other artists. Although Stu Stevens played out his immediate special bookings, he soon tended to withdraw from active participation in the music scene. However, after many years of silence ‘The Voice’, as he was affectionately known to his fans, released a new album on Ash Records in 2003.

For the spring 1970 sessions that produced My Woman, My Woman, My Wife, Bowen seems to have focused on the success that Frankie Laine had in 1969 covering the Marty Robbins composition "You Gave Me a Mountain," a melodramatic ballad addressed to God that had been a country hit for Johnny Bush. Robbins wrote a similar piece of material, "My Woman, My Woman, My Wife," and had just taken it to the top of the country charts himself, and Bowen perhaps thought Martin could rejuvenate his career with a pop cover just the way Laine had with "You Gave Me a Mountain.

I used to live near Stu Stevens and went to school with his son even visited his house and went to see him in concert, listening to his songs brings back pleasant memories.

The Aussie singer/songwriter is in the studio to give us an exclusive LIVE performance of the title track from new solo album, ‘Woman’.

My wife Susie and I have been living in Spain for over 20 years, the last 6 in Ibiza. She helped me into a bra, panty girdle, tights and high heels, plus a blouse and skirt to complete the transformation
