Hunting High and Low is the debut studio album by Norwegian new wave band A-ha. It was released on 1 June 1985 by Warner Bros. The album was a huge commercial success, reaching high positions on charts worldwide and peaking at number 15 on the US Billboard 200, eventually selling more than 11 million units worldwide. The album was recorded at Eel Pie Studios in Twickenham, London, and produced by Tony Mansfield, John Ratcliff and Alan Tarney.
The High Road is the second studio album by American singer JoJo. It was released on October 17, 2006, by Da Family Entertainment, Blackground Records, and Universal Records. Recording sessions for the album took place between late 2005 and mid-2006 in California, New York City, Miami, and Atlanta.
In aviation, hot and high is a condition of low air density due to high ambient temperature and high airport elevation. Air density decreases with increasing temperature and altitude. The reduced density reduces the performance of the aircraft's engine. Aviators gauge air density by calculating the density altitude. Hot" and "high" do not have to be mutually inclusive of one another, though this tends to be the exception
City High is the only studio album by contemporary R&B trio City High. It was released on May 22, 2001. The group began as Pardlo signing on as a solo artist. However, soon Pardlo's high school friend Toby, and the producers decided that it should be a two-man group featured in the album. Soon after the two-man group began to work on the album, The Product G&B became successful.
For all of the album's welcome contradictions, however, this focus does hold it back a little. On 2010's One Life Stand, for my money their best album, and 2006's The Warning, their excellent breakout record, Hot Chip were a band who ducked and dived, bobbed and weaved. The choruses often felt so dazzling and powerful because the verses were so dark and sneaky, or vice versa. Guitar and piano played more prominent roles, creating a richness to their productions that refreshed the ears.
High and Mighty is the ninth studio album by British hard rock band Uriah Heep, released in 1976 by Bronze Records in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the US. High and Mighty was the last Uriah Heep album to feature vocalist and founding member David Byron, who was subsequently fired due to his troubles with alcohol (he later died in 1985).
The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys is the fifth studio album by English rock band Traffic, released in 1971. As with other Traffic albums, The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys featured different forms and offshoots of rock including jazz rock, progressive rock, as well as classic rock and roll.
