Come Away with ESG is the 1983 debut album by American post-punk band ESG. Released by 99 Records, the album incorporates songs from ESG's first EPs, ESG and ESG Says Dance to the Beat of Moody. Ed Bahlman discovered ESG while serving as the judge for a talent show and became the band's unofficial manager. Tony Wilson from Factory Records approached the band after a performance at Hurrah in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and three days later they began recording with Martin Hannett.

A new reissue marks the 35th anniversary of an essential dance music blueprint. ESG - Come Away With ESG It's hard to separate ESG from their story, but their story is pretty good, so here we go. Made up of four sisters from the Bronx-Renee, Marie, Valerie and Deborah Scroggins-ESG formed in the late '70s when their mother bought them instruments and demanded a weekly performance from them as a way to keep them busy.
2nd Street is a 1976 album by Back Street Crawler and was released on the Atco Records label. It was released after Paul Kossoff's death in March 1976, and is dedicated to him. The album is regarded as a considerable advance on their 1975 debut The Band Plays On, but Kossoff's involvement in it is limited to lead guitar lines over the completed tracks.
