I just got the 2 disc "Bob Marley & the Wailers Live at the Roxy," and now I think that's the best of the best. Marley could connect and wow a big stadium, but here he's in the same small . club I've been in with perhaps 200. So intimate and powerful, with great drum and bass sound. Bob Marley And The Wailers. A recording that sounds close to the musicians and what you hear is a lot of the proces that went on on stage. It's a much more raw concert than those that were meant to be recorded wich are perfect in their production as in preformingstyle. I like this one a lot. The room comes across as not too big, there's sometimes even a little silence between the clearly hearable crowd. Bob is still at the point of his carrier where he was not yet seen as the superstar. Also that is hearable, as he is really shouting in his voicing to be heard. The production is not all that perfect, but it gives it even more tension as you hang on to the speakers to get everything out of this special record. Especially because they play versions of their songs and there's a lot of attention for the instruments.

I got the same feeling like you about this recording.
