Fugazi (/fuˈɡɑːzi/; foo-GAH-zee) is an American punk rock band that formed in Washington, . The band consists of guitarists and vocalists Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto, bassist Joe Lally and drummer Brendan Canty. Fugazi are noted for their unique sound, blending elements of dub/reggae with high energy rock and guitars, as well as for their approach to the business of music, which found success while avoiding all contact with the corporate music industry
13 Songs is a compilation of all the songs from the American post-hardcore band Fugazi's first two EPs. It was released in September 1989. The EPs compiled were Fugazi (1988), which was recorded at Inner Ear Studios in June 1988 with Ted Niceley & Don Zientara, and Margin Walker (1989), which was recorded in December 1988 at Southern Studios in London with John Loder handling production duties.
Fugazi, by contrast, came on like The Feelies with an attitude problem and a reggae fetish. Musically tight, sonically adventurous, and curiously artsy, the band would make a career out of challenging punk’s rigid parameters. Fans may argue the merits of each Fugazi album, but most agree that theirs is a discography virtually devoid of clunkers. This makes worst is a relative term, one I don’t relish using in this context, as I am not eager to find my name on any indie rock hit lists.
Fugazi is the second studio album by the British neo-progressive rock band Marillion, released in 1984. Produced by Nick Tauber, it was recorded between November 1983 and February 1984 at various studios and was the first to feature drummer Ian Mosley, following the dismissal of the band's original drummer Mick Pointer.
The two extended arms on the cover of Fugazi’s The Argument appear to be historic representations of justice or enlightenment, but their orientations are puzzling.
Marillion's 2nd Studio Album, Fugazi is a single album & was released in March 1984. This album was remastered in 1998. Standard Jewel case with CD booklet featuring Lyrics & original album art. Vinyl Version: Cut from the original vinyl production masters. Reproduced in 180g heavy weight vinyl with a gatefold sleeve featuring the original artwork.
