Collegium Cantorum is an advanced level mixed choir based in Uppsala Cathedral (Uppsala Domkyrka), the largest cathedral in Scandinavia. The choir was formed in 1983 when a few singers from the motet choir, Schola Cantorum, wished to take another step in their musical development and expand their repertoire. With time, Collegium Cantorum has developed a broad musical range, which can be seen on this CD. The choir focuses on sacred music, everything from early Renaissance to newly-composed music
