Blue savannah song Oh, blue savannah song. Racing ‘cross the desert At a hundred miles an hour To the orange side Through the clouds and thunder. Ooh, savannah song To you only To you only. DRAMA! One rule for us, for you another Do unto yourself as you see fit for your brother Is that not within your realm of understanding?

Blue Savannah song Oh blue Savannah song Somewhere 'cross the desert Sometime in the early hours In a restless world On the open highway. My home is where the heart is Sweet to surrender to you only I send my love to you. Blue Savannah" is a song by Erasure which was issued as a single from the duo's fourth studio album Wild! in 1990. Mute Records released it in Europe as the album's third single, and Sire Records released it in the United States as the album's second single. It is a classic Erasure synthpop song written by members Vince Clarke and Andy Bell. One of the band's signature songs, the duo still perform it regularly in concert.

Erasure are an English synthpop duo, consisting of songwriter and keyboardist Vince Clarke and singer and songwriter Andy Bell. Erasure entered the music scene in 1985 with their debut single "Who Needs Love Like That".

CD - Intercord Tonträger. A gently propulsive track from Wild!, Blue Savannah makes for a pleasant if not a completely stunning single for Erasure; the band itself once amusingly claimed it was "Erasure meets the Eagles!" The pleasure in this single lies in the various remixes and extra tracks that come scattered throughout. The title track itself benefits from two complementary remixes, "Der Deutsche Mix I and II", the latter of which adds a reasonable enough breakbeat and some fun synth soloing to create a low-key, Manchester-tinged dancefloor filler.

I think the crossed out "K" is actually an "R" - which would denote a radio promo. Other examples are Am I Right? (R MUTE 134), Breath of Life (R MUTE 142)Looks like the radio promo (R MUTE 109) was scrapped and just the commercial version (7 MUTE 109) issued.
