They were fairly restricted at the time to playing American standards under the name Del Tones, but they would make forays into recording studios to try out their original material as often as possible.

Chasing Yesterday is the second studio album by the English rock band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Written and produced by eponymous frontman Noel Gallagher, the album was recorded in 2014 at Strangeways and Abbey Road Studios in London. It was released on 25 February 2015 by Gallagher's record label Sour Mash Records, preceded by the singles "In the Heat of the Moment" and "Ballad of the Mighty I". Chasing Yesterday topped the UK Albums Chart in its first week of release.
The Beau-Marks were launched in 1958; comprised of vocalist/lead guitarist Ray Hutchinson, rhythm guitarist Mike Robitaille, drummer Gilles Tailleur and pianist Joey Frechette, the band's third single, "Clap Your Hands," hit number one in Canada and Australia, and charted in the . Invited to appear on American Bandstand, the quartet was also asked to play a concert for charity. The band broke up in 1963 after three albums: High Flying Beau-Marks (1960), The Beau-Marks in Person Recorded on Location at Le Coq D'or (1961) and a self-titled 1962 album.
