Meet the Brady Bunch is the second studio album by American pop group the Brady Bunch. It was released on April 17, 1972, by Paramount Records. Two songs on the album, "We Can Make the World a Whole Lot Brighter" and "Time to Change", were featured on season 3, episode 16 of The Brady Bunch, "Dough Re Mi". In 1996, the album was released on CD for the first time with the addition of two bonus tracks from 1973's Chris Knight & Maureen McCormick.

The Brady Bunch is a popular 1970s sitcom series which was created by Sherwood Schwartz and starred Robert Reed, Florence Henderson, and Ann B. Davis. The series revolved around a large blended family. The show originally aired from 26 September 1969 to 8 March 1974 on ABC and was subsequently syndicated internationally. In 1997, "Getting Davy Jones" (season 3, episode 12) was ranked No. 37 on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All-Time.

Meet the Brady Bunch is the first album from the sitcom family and, with its light, vaguely hippie sentiments and music, it set the pace for all that follows. Musically, Meet the Brady Bunch isn't worth much - it's all crass, cheaply produced pop music that was designed to cash in on a particular moment in history - but it has value not only as a camp artifact, but also as evidence of how quickly the mainstream can co-opt and dilute the counter-culture

Here's the story Of a lovely lady Who was bringing up three very lovely girls All of them had hair of gold Like their mother The youngest one in curls. It's the story Of a man named Brady Who was busy with three boys of his own They were four men Living all together Yet they were all alone. Til the one day when the lady met this fellow And they knew that it was much more than a hunch That this group must somehow form a family That's the way we all became the Brady bunch. The Brady bunch, the Brady bunch That's the way we became the Brady bunch.
