Chuck Jackson (born July 22, 1937) is an American R&B singer who was one of the first artists to record material by Burt Bacharach and Hal David successfully. He has performed with moderate success since 1961. His hits include "I Don't Want to Cry," "Any Day Now," "I Keep Forgettin'", and "All Over the World". He was born in Latta, South Carolina, and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Chuck Jackson ‎– Arrives! Label: Motown ‎– 667, Motown ‎– MS 667. Format: Vinyl, LP, Album. Different center label design compared to this parallel release: Arrives! Centered tracklisting, artist name printed below the spindle hole and other minor typography differences.

Chuck Jackson's failure at Motown had little to do with the material, and everything to do with the choices for singles and lackluster promotion.

(You Can't Let the Boy Overpower) The Man in You" did nothing for either the Miracles or Jackson; it was the only single released from this set of 12 above-average tracks. Better choices for singles were the heart-rending ballad "Who You Gonna Run To," the grooving "We'll Find a Way," the explosive "Ain't No Sun Since You've Been Gone," "Lonely, Lonely Man Am I," or "Your Wonderful Love.

Chuck Jackson went on a 90 day national tour with the Fee Bee "Dell-Vikings" in a production called the "Fantabulous Rock & Roll Show Of 1957. Also touring with the show were Mickey & Sylvia, the Velours, Ray Charles, Larry Williams, Joe Turner, Bo Diddley, the Moonglows, Roy Brown, Annie Laurie, Nappy Brown, and Tiny Topsy. The Fee Bee group became Chuck Jackson and the Versatiles when Kripp Johnson’s Fee Bee contract expired in December of 1957 and he left to rejoin the Del Vikings on Mercury. His first Motown album "Chuck Jackson Arrives" charted at 48 on the R&B album charts. Motown reissued all three Jackson albums and other tracks as the "Chuck Jackson - The Motown Anthology" in 2005.
