Performed by Don Gardner & Dee Dee Ford, it climbed up to on the Billboard charts and even made the pop top twenty. But that ain't all. What was about to follow might not have had enough penetration power to jump on the charts again, but every single song Don Gardner recorded in that decade had pure class. Actually, Don first went to school for cooking, baking and restaurant management first. He had plans to follow a culinary career but fortunately for us, he was destined to be followed by music throughout his life. Two more singles and an album followed before they departed from Fire in 1964. In the same year the band headed for Sweden. They stayed for almost two years, cutting two 'live' albums there before they went back to the US where Dee Dee and Don went seperate ways. Don Gardner, dee Dee Ford - Shake A Leg, Baby (2:17) 03. Don Gardner - I Really Love You Baby (2:11) 04. Don Gardner - I'm In Such Misery (2:12) 05. Don Gardner - Dog Eat Dog (2:24) 06. Don Gardner - Let's Party (2:43) 07.

The Private Life of Don Juan is a 1934 British comedy-drama film directed by Alexander Korda and starring Douglas Fairbanks, Merle Oberon and Benita Hume. It was Fairbanks' final film role. The film is about the life of the aging Don Juan, based on the 1920 play L'homme à la Rose by Henry Bataille. It was made by Korda's London Film Productions at British & Dominion Studios in Elstree/Borehamwood and distributed by United Artists.

Singing drummer Don Gardner and vocalist/Hammond organist Dee Dee Ford were knocking them dead at Small's Paradise in Harlem when they suddenly scored big with the call-and-response rave-up "I Need Your Lovin'" in 1962. This 26-track collection rounds up all the material recorded for Bobby Robinson's Fire label, all taken from sparkling stereo masters. Robinson augmented the duo with top-flight New York R&B session players, and their rhythmic core is what drives these tracks, proto-soul drenched in gospel. Well worth picking up.
