Alberto Curci was born in Naples, (the chief town of region Campania, Italy), on December 5th, 1886, and died there on June 2nd, 1973. He studied violin with the Master . erni and in 1904 he graduated from the Neapolitan "San Pietro a Majella" Conservatory. The following year he went to Berlin to specialize under the guidance of Joseph Joachim and soon he began a swift and brilliant career, giving concerts for several years in the main European towns, the Dutch Indies and the East
