The Bye Bye Man is a 2017 American supernatural horror film directed by Stacy Title and written by Jonathan Penner, based on the chapter "The Bridge to Body Island" in Robert Damon Schneck's book The President's Vampire. Principal photography began on November 2, 2015, in Cleveland, Ohio.

A tattered but beautiful girl, Swann, approaches journalist Avron in a bar one night, telling him that she has been drugged and needs a place to sleep. Avron takes the girl to his apartment, where, by the next day, she recovers. As they walk through Paris, Swann swears that she is being followed and disappears from Avron's sight.
