The OFFICIAL group for "The Dr Demento Show"! It's moved from the radio to the internet, still. Oh yes they call me the streak! I like to show off my physique. What Dr. D songs run through your head at random moments? Guiness Black.

Note: Show was June 15. Apparently the four shows from June 22 to July 13 were reruns, and every station was given different shows to repeat. This show has 13 parts: Audio for this show has been disabled at the request of Dr. Demento. Part 1. You must be logged-in to listen to shows online.

Demento 20th Anniversary Collection. Dr. Demento 20th Anniversary Collection is a release by radio disc jockey Dr. Demento to celebrate 20 years since the beginning of his radio career and novelty song show. It covers many of the novelty and comedy songs from the 1950s to the 1980s, such as Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavour (On the Bedpost Overnight) by Lonnie Donegan & His Skiffle Group, to the then recent release of Eat It by "Weird Al" Yankovic, whose popularity was boosted by Demento.

Demento (born April 2, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is the stage name of Barret Hansen, who has made a successful career as a radio disc jockey specializing in novelty songs and pop music parodies. He created the persona in 1970 while working at Los Angeles station KPPC-FM. Legend has it, after Hansen played "Transfusion" by Nervous Norvus on the radio, someone said that he had to be demented to play that. Thereafter, the name stuck.

Demento 25th Anniversary Collection is a release by radio disc jockey Dr. Demento to celebrate 25 years since the beginning of his radio career and novelty song show. It covers many of the novelty and comedy songs from the 1950s to the early 1990s, such as Shaving Cream by Benny Bell, to the then recent release of Smells Like Nirvana by "Weird Al" Yankovic, whose popularity was boosted by Demento. It is also a sequel to the previous album, Dr. Demento 20th Anniversary Collection.
