John Brack – The Conference, 1956. Although his practice left a tremendous impact both on other artists and art form itself, John Brack wasn’t a born artist, per se. Embracing the craft at the age of 17, he possessed something far more valuable that made him an aspiring creator – a brilliant mind. Brack was, up until then, very interested in poetry and prose, reading insatiably and aspiring to become a poet himself. John Brack was a distinct artist in every sense of the word. Remembered as an iconic figure of Australian and world art scene of the 20th century, one of the many actions that made him regarded as such is his decision to stay in Australia when many of his colleagues decided to visit Europe. Even though Brack was staying put in Melbourne when many other young artists and intellectuals widely visited Europe, his paintings were all but deprived of European influence.

John Brack was one of Australia's most outstanding artists, was born in Melbourne in 1920, and his work first achieved prominence in the 1950s. It's the early 1960's and John Brack, head of painting oat the National Gallery School, has finished for the day. So he buttons his jacket, furls his umbrella and wanders down Swanston Street past Foy and Gibson department store, past the town hall, towards Flinders Street station. But before catching his train out to suburban Surrey Hills, Brack stops in at the Cathedral Hotel in Flinders Lane.

Four years earlier went there all rumors that a new album was going to appear by former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty. 10 years earlier he released his last album Eye Of The Zombie that flopped. The now 52-year-old singer man now with Blue Moon Swamp and heard not yet to be quenched. With this album he returns to the original CCR-sound, a clear example of this is Southern Streamline

On Monday, Breezy announced that the album will be a double-disc project, running 40 songs deep. There’s still no time table as for when the double album will be dropping, but with a finished track list revealed & an upcoming documentary on his life dropping June 11, it looks to be right around the corner.
