Jimmie Noone, the man who is considered the greatest new orleans clarinetist along with Johnny Dodds. But somehow I was dissapointed! Mostly with the song selection. His tone is fine and plays with a great deal of feeling! Perhaps even better than Benny Goodman. Another great track to listen to is "I know that you know"-this is the song that become somewhat of a theme song for Noone after his recording in 28 with Earl Hines. Listen to his great solo! There are much.
