Holiday Cheer ‎(LP, Album, RE).

This article contains a listing of Dean Martin's original singles, LPs, and compilations from his career. Martin recorded his first single, "Which Way Did My Heart Go", "All of Me", for the small Diamond Records in July 1946.

It is perhaps best described as a "seasonal" album rather than a Christmas or holiday release, despite the inclusion of such familiar fare as "White Christmas" and "Winter Wonderland. Dean Martin has also included such standards as "The Things We Did Last Summer" and "June in January," as well as some specially written material such as Sammy Cahn and Ken Lane's "It Won't Cool Off" (though their song "A Winter Romance" has been eliminated on this reissue

There's good reason why Dean Martin was known as the King of Cool, and with Christmas being one of our coldest holidays, it makes sense that these two go together so well. What makes these recordings special is his languid and playfully tipsy phrasing as he delivers delightful yet slightly off-kilter takes on familiar tunes, including "White Christmas," "A Marshmallow World," and "Silent Night.
