On 24th November 2017 BMG proudly release Gary Moore’s Blues and Beyond, a remarkable collection of his powerful and emotive blues studio recordings. The live tracks are a great example of how exciting Moore could be in concert, so it's hard to choose one over another. But the overall effect of hearing Moore playing a complete concert is pretty cool. The outer clam shell box (9 1/2" X 6" X 1 3/4") is very nicely made with a nicer than usual graphic on the cover (the "gold" is almost 3D looking), and there's a track list on the back.

Moore’s fans are set to launch the campaign, focused on a multi-artist concert at Belfast’s Empire Music Hall on 12 April 2019. Published on. January 1, 2019. The Gig For Gary show will feature a number of artists with connections to, or inspiration by, Moore, who died in 2011 at the age of 58. It will open with a set by Sam Davidson’s Taste, the tribute band to another favourite son of Irish guitar rock, Rory Gallagher and his early band Taste. Northern Irish musician Davidson has taken over the leadership of the tribute act from John Wilson, and they will play tracks by both late heroes. Gary often quoted Rory as one of his favourite artists.
