Canadian Sunset is a compilation album by American pop singer Andy Williams that was released in the spring of 1965 by Columbia Records

July 2, 1956 - "High upon a Mountain". This is just the 8th song Andy recorded for Cadence Records. First released as the "B" side of "Canadian Sunset" in July 1956. This very spiritual song was also included on Andy's first ever compilation Lp, the self titled "Andy Williams" which was released in early in 1958 by Cadence Records. The quality of Andy's singing on this early recording gives us all the answer we need as to why he continued to record for another 50 years.

The Andy Williams Christmas Album is the first Christmas holiday album released by singer Andy Williams and his twelfth studio album overall. It was issued by Columbia Records in 1963, and it would prove to be the first of eight Christmas albums released by Williams. Though it was also the album that introduced Williams' perennial holiday classic "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year", Columbia instead opted to release Williams' cover of "White Christmas" as the album's promotional single at the time.

The first five CDs cover the artist's 1956-61 tenure at Cadence Records in total. In fact, there is some repetition, since the albums Andy Williams, Andy Williams' Best, and Million Seller Songs were compilations to begin with. Hits like "Canadian Sunset" turn up as many as three times.
