Prince And The Revolution ead (Extended single) b/w Girls & Boys 1986 Paisley Park 0-20516. It’s well into 2019 along the Pacific Rim and about 3 minutes from the New Year in Chicago, the city where I found myself and then lost myself. Most of my playlist this evening has consisted of mash-ups on this genius YouTube channel (have a look/listen to Shining Woman) and in between that I’ve been playing some records. A ead (Extended Version) 7:52 B Girls & Boys (LP Version) 5:30. Published By – Controversy Music Record Company – Warner Communications Pressed By – Allied Record Company. Is there actually any difference between the 9:56 and 10:03 playingtime versions?

Arlana
No, its the same length. It's actually the 10:03 as there's a little ending synthy bit at the end

Kikora
This has to be the best Prince 12" EVER ! - And that's thanks to The Revolution's sisters and brothers. "Mountains" starts off with Prince urging us to join the dancefloor- then the album version strictly follows, but when it's "supposed to end", the band just... plays on. And no wonder! The groove is really urging, like no-one wants to stop. One by one the different band members steps up to do solo-performances on this evolving instrumental excursion which is Pure Bliss. Closing in on 10 minutes seems short. This is the Revolution!
