Pink Floyd have been known to perform and/or record a number of songs and instrumentals which have never been officially released on a single or album. Only those whose existence can be reliably confirmed are listed here. Bootleg recordings of the majority of below listed songs exist. Several previously unreleased songs appeared on The Early Years 1965–1972 box set in November 2016, which marked their first official release.

1967 - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. 1968 - A Saucerful Of Secrets. 1970 - Atom Heart Mother.

The discography of Pink Floyd, a British progressive rock band, consists of fifteen studio albums, three live albums, nine compilation albums, four box sets, five extended plays, and twenty-seven singles. Formed in 1965, Pink Floyd initially earned recognition for their psychedelic or space rock music, and, as they evolved, for their progressive rock music. They are known for philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, innovative cover art, and elaborate live shows.

The brilliant Pink Floyd album designer had come up with a wonderful photograph of two actual sculptures shot with a real camera against a real backdrop. What may have seemed to be a normal process of creating photographic artwork with actual organic items has been somewhat lost in the modern day with the use of digital imagery. To be be able to visualize, create, and shoot such images requires the skill set of a brilliant and creative artist. The lives of musicians revolve around the results of bad deals. Or at least they were giving voice to the history of bad deals that have defined the plight of so many musicians. One of the sentiments reflective of being burned in a bad deal or a relationship is the feeling of standing alone empty handed.

I didn't care for it much when I first heard it, preferring DSotM and Animals, but now I absolutely love the album. Still love Animals and DSotM as much, if not more now, but Meddle has risen above the other albums faster than any other album I've grown to love. A decent album of great Pink Floyd songs. Good for new listeners just to understand what Pink Floyd music is really like. A foot in the door is more just hits and radio favourites.

Pink Floyd parody album covers pay homage to the classic Pink Floyd albums by using the artwork found on the album covers for new albums by other artists. Pink Floyd provided some of the most well-known album artwork, making it no surprise that so many people have paid tribute to their albums throughout the years. Parody album covers can come with new music, to honor Pink Floyd as an influence, with parody or cover songs, or with little connection other than the similar artwork. Whatever the case, each brings their own reason for connecting their release to that of Pink Floyd's.
