Charles Alexander Quartet Discography Tracks. New. 1 submission pending. Jeffery Benson & Charles Alexander Quartet - A Handful Of Tears ‎(CD, Album).

Performer: Ebony Tears Album: A Handful Of Nothing Label: Black Sun Records. Убойнейший микс скандинавской мелодики и трэшевой агрессии. Весь металкор вышел из этого альбома. Монолитная плотность звучания, положенная на пилораму остро заточенных риффов, устраивает ушным раковинам настоящий погром.

The discography of George Benson consists of thirty-six studio albums and five live albums on Prestige Records, Columbia Records, Verve Records, A&M Records, CTI Records, Warner Bros. Records, GRP Records and Concord Records, as well as two music DVDs. Note: this discography consists only original releases. Reissues of previously released albums are not included into this discography.

Though the Charles Lloyd New Quartet has been together for a decade, they haven't recorded as a group since 2011's Athens Concert, when the saxophonist was still signed to ECM. Bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Eric Harland were part of the Marvels' quintet for I Long to See You in 2016, and Lloyd most recently recorded with pianist Jason Moran on the duet offering Hagar's Song (also issued by ECM) in 2013. But not recording together doesn't mean the same thing as not playing, as amply evidenced here

George Benson (born March 22, 1943) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He began his professional career at the age of 21 as a jazz guitarist. Benson uses a rest-stroke picking technique similar to that of gypsy jazz players such as Django Reinhardt. A former child prodigy, Benson first came to prominence in the 1960s, playing soul jazz with Jack McDuff and others. He then launched a successful solo career, alternating between jazz, pop, R&B singing, and scat singing.

Dr. Charles K. Alexander is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. From 2002 until 2006 he was Dean of the Fenn College of Engineering.
