Suffering from poor sound quality, the 11 tracks disregard a large part of the Nice's telling career, with "America," "The Thoughts of Emerlist Davjack," and "Rondo" coming off as the heaviest hitters. Tracks such as "Angel of Death" and "Happy Freuds" could have easily been exchanged for more influential works such as "She Belongs to Me" or an excerpt from Five Bridges.

The Nice Collection is a music boxset/compilation recording by THE NICE (Symphonic Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1985 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette.

The Nice were an English progressive rock band active in the late 1960s. They blended rock, jazz and classical music and were keyboardist Keith Emerson's first commercially successful band. The group was formed in 1967 by Emerson, Lee Jackson, David O'List and Ian Hague to back soul singer P. P. Arnold. The city is called Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912.
