For Your Pleasure is the second album by the English rock band Roxy Music, released by Island Records in 1973. It was their last to feature synthesiser and sound specialist Brian Eno, who would later gain acclaim as a solo artist and producer. The group was able to spend more studio time on this album than on their debut, combining strong song material by Bryan Ferry with more elaborate production treatments.

On Roxy Music's debut, the tensions between Brian Eno and Bryan Ferry propelled their music to great, unexpected heights, and for most of the group's second album, For Your Pleasure, the band equals, if not surpasses, those expectations. However, there are a handful of moments where those tensions become unbearable, as when Eno wants to move toward texture and Ferry wants to stay in more conventional rock territory; the nine-minute "The Bogus Man" captures such creative tensions perfectly, and it's easy to see why Eno left the group after the album was completed.
In 1974, Roxy Music released the record, Country Life. Siren was released in 1975 and the end of the decade in 1979 saw the issue of the Manifesto album. The band released two more albums in the 1980’s, the first being Flesh and Blood in 1980 and their final album in 1982 entitled Avalon. Our Top 10 Roxy Music Songs list presents a wide selection of great songs from the band’s fabulous ten year recording period between 1972 and 1982. The dynamic For Your Pleasure album was released in 1973. It was the band’s second album release. The song Do The Strand, was the album’s opening cut. 5 – Oh Yeah! As we enter the second half of our Top 10 Roxy Music songs list we turn to the Flesh and Blood record. The Flesh and Blood album was released in 1980. The song Oh Yeah, was the second single released from the album.
Roxy Music didn’t have the level of mass hysteria that T. Rex generated in their homeland, but they were just as influential. This is for your pleasure! Roxy Music (Reprise, 1972). The band set out early on to be original, and with their first album, Ferry and Eno were front and center of the art-rock movement in the early 1970s. Their debut was produced by King Crimson co-founder and lyricist Peter Sinfield. Creative differences between Ferry and Eno fueled their second album.

Or just difficult second album. There are few things around us that are black and white. Usually we talk about shades of grey. But for me it is impossible not to mention it when I compare first eponymous Roxy Music album and "For Your Pleasure", their the second one. They are both masterpieces, and very different records in the same time. You can't judge a book by cover, but these two albums have significant ones. The first album cover is picture of young woman wearing bright clothes ready to seduce you. Overall color is white.
