Frankie Knuckles - Motivation Too Frankie Knuckles couldn't care less about "cool. The title of Motivation Too may be its subtlest feature. This mix-CD is not going to surprise you. It’s not even going to mildly surprise you. Knuckles built his wheelhouse (or, really, Warehouse) and is essentially going to stay in it forever. Most of Knuckles' pert selections cheerfully strut on the line between awe-inspiring and corny. But if you need to be reminded that you are, in fact, a worthwhile human being as sturdy garage and house bumps imperturbably in the foreground, then boy, does this thing do the job.

This is a great mix, what else can I say? It's filled with positive house tracks (which is a nice change from the electro-house trend as of late) and mixed very well. You can tell it was recorded from Fankie mixing from vinyl. But, who cares? It just proves how awesome a DJ he is. Truly a house pioneer and he continues to impress to this day. This mix belongs in any house fan's collection. Amazing stuff!

Agree with crazyaejay review. It really is a superb mix ending with DJ Pope's Happy being me, a truely uplifting track. Respect to Knuckles from the London House heads who know what real music is all about.
