The Washington Symphonic Brass is an American professional modern brass ensemble, and a not-for-profit 501- (c)(3) arts organization. The ensemble performs in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas. The WSB presents live concerts, produces commercial recordings, and educates young brass and percussion musicians

Under Professor Salzman’s direction the University of Washington Wind Ensemble has performed at a number of prestigious music conventions, has presented several world premiere performances of outstanding new music for wind band and in 2004, undertook a highly acclaimed nine-day concert tour of the Kansai region of Japan, returning for more extensive tours of that country in 2007 and 2010. In July of 2008 Nihon Pals, a music education resource company based in Osaka, Japan, released a set of instructional DVDs regarding the subject of building ensemble musicality featuring the UW Wind Ensemble.
The Seattle Symphonic Band is comprised of volunteer musicians and North Seattle Community College students.
The Fort Washington Symphonic Winds is directed by Walter A. Harley, a music educator with 27 years of experience serving the state of Maryland . The Fort Washington Symphonic Winds is a community band comprised of adult musicians from the surrounding communities in the Washington Metropolitan area. The Fort Washington Symphonic Winds was organized for the purpose of promoting the musical and educational significance of adult community bands and is dedicated to the achievement of artistic performance and enjoyment. Serving the Community Through Music Performance".
Director of Fall Concert Band, Spring Collegiate Band, Spring University Band, and Jazz Lab Band II. Mr. Fletcher’s 31 year public teaching career includes directorships at Monroe-Central J. Sr. High School (1985-1992), Winchester Community High School (1992-1998), Highland High School (1998-2010), Anderson High School (2010-2011), and a second stint at Winchester Community High School (2011-2016). Symphonic bands directed by Mr. Jones at Concord High School and Southport High School were state finalists in the Indiana State School Music Association concert band state finals many times during his tenure, placing as high as third on several occasions.
Symphonic Band comprises a roster of 65 and performs works for large band or wind orchestra. Shawn D. Vondran is associate director of bands and conductor of the Northwestern University Symphonic Band.
