The Collection is a compilation album of the British progressive rock band Camel released 1985. Mirage is the second studio album by the English progressive rock band Camel, released on 1 March 1974. It features songs such as "The White Rider" and "Lady Fantasy". It is also a showcase for Andrew Latimer's flute, played in "Supertwister".

What makes Camel stand out next to their contemporaries is their style of playing and composing. Latimer leads the band with his distinctive guitar sound: choosing mood and emotion over showmanship, his very melodic riffs are as powerful as they are meaningful. Following the ambitious song cycle Nude, Camel attempted their version of an Alan Parsons Project album with The Single Factor. Considering that Parsons was having hits that year with songs like Eye in the Sky, it’s not surprising that Camel tried to capture the same audience, yet their talent didn’t lay with pop music-it lay with atmospheric instrumentals and creating detailed soundscapes. Consequently, The Single Factor sounds a little forced and often fails to capture the group’s magic, even though there a few strong moments on the record.
