The two-LP set contains more material from many acts featured on the first Woodstock album with additional performances from Mountain and Melanie. Woodstock Two was originally released in 1971 as a double LP set and was re-released as a double CD in 1994

"P" stamped in runouts indicates that this is a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman pressing; that, plus label fonts, plus 2.703125" pressing ring, plus shiny paper for the labels (in contrast to Sonic using uncoated paper for labels) add up to such pressing origin, the 'SO' in the label copy was copied from Sonic pressings but was not pressed at Sonic. The mastering by 'Lacquer Cut At - Columbia Recording Studios' since technically Columbia did a re-cut.
