William Orbit ‎– Hello Waveforms. Label: Sanctuary ‎– SANCD406. Country: UK. Released: 20 Feb 2006. An Excellent Album, full of the Orbit-typical Earworm-Sounds! The low rate can only mean that it's not everybodys cup of tea. The only thing I don't like are the two pop songs on it (spiral, they live in the sky), but the rest is awesome and brilliant ambient sounds! People who say Boards Of Canada make great music but who then say this is BS make me puke over! Orbit's Music is far far more in a higher league! Reply Notify me Helpful.

Orbit is the first studio album by English musician William Orbit. While all of his later solo albums are predominantly instrumental, this album consists mostly of songs with lyrics, with vocals performed by Peta Nikolich. Orbit spawned two singles, "Feel Like Jumping" and "Love My Way"; the music video for "Feel Like Jumping" was directed by Peter Christopherson.

William Orbit (born on 15 December 1956, as William Mark Wainwright) is a British musician and record producer, best known to the public for producing Madonna's album Ray of Light, which received four Grammy Awards. He has also co-produced several unreleased Madonna songs originally recorded for other albums that were never used. Also, he produced "13" by Blur, and remixed some of the songs on the album.

I went looking for two William Orbit songs; Surfin' and Sea Green.

William Orbit, Hello Waveforms. If the horizontal clubbing scene has faded then no one's told William Orbit as the signature style he's employed since Madonna's Ray of Light - lilting guitar, choral synths, progressive house motifs - remains unchanged. But then the producer has pioneered this kind of ethereal electronic music since the 1980s, culminating in 2000's adaptation of Barber's Adagio For Strings (an unlikely trance hit which was endlessly piped through the nations gyms)
