Maybe this genre-bending album should not be included in this list because it does not really ‘qualify’ as a Hip Hop album. It incorporates styles such as Soul, R&B, Jazz, Rock, Gospel as much as it does Hip Hop. But Lauryn Hill is Hip Hop and this album’s spirit is Hip Hop. Similar to artists such as The Roots and OutKast, Lauryn Hill is not afraid to expirement and here she allows her talent to produce the album that suits it. The result is an all-time classic musical masterpiece, not just for Hip Hop, but for all genres of music. Banging beats, Fat Joe in top form and guest features that hit the spot, with – of course – Big Pun taking center stage here and there. Top tracks: John Blaze My World Triplets Terror Squadians. 29. Devin The Dude - The Dude. Brand Nubian – Foundation. Andre Nickatina – Raven in My Eyes. Onyx – Shut ‘Em Down.

The Hit List is the seventh album by the San Diego-based rock band Unwritten Law, released on January 2, 2007 by Abydos Records. It is a "best of" album that includes 3 songs from their 2005 album Here's to the Mourning, new studio recordings of 14 songs from their earlier albums, and the new songs "Shoulda Known Better" and "Welcome to Oblivion
