Let the Dominoes Fall is the seventh studio album by the American punk rock band Rancid. It is their first album of new material in nearly six years, following 2003's Indestructible, and their first with drummer Branden Steineckert, who joined the band in 2006 after the departure of founding drummer Brett Reed. The span of nearly six years between Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall was Rancid's longest gap between studio albums in their career. In November 2005, it was announced that the band had begun working on a "large amount of new material" for the album and guitarist Lars Frederiksen mentioned that it would surface sometime in 2006
Rancid's been doing this a long time and while they'll never recapture the exact same power and glory they exuded in the '90s', on Let the Dominos Fall they show they've got more than enough of each to get by in grand style.

Rancid (also known as Rancid 5 or Rancid 2000) is the eponymously titled fifth studio album by the American punk rock band Rancid. It is the second eponymous album and was released on August 1, 2000, through frontman Tim Armstrong's label, Hellcat Records. It was the band's first album released through Hellcat. It is Rancid's most hardcore offering to date, which was released as a follow-up to the more ska and reggae oriented Life Won't Wait

Their newest and fan-anticipated release, Let the Dominoes Fall, doesn’t detract from this in the slightest; rather, the album brings back memories of Rancid’s pinnacle in the mid-‘90s, with the distinct smell of nostalgic reggae-punk. And across the 19-strong tracklist, it’s a Rancid smell that gets anything but rancid
