Touch is a German duo composed by Tom Hackl on keyboards and Charly Geisler on drums.Musically they play a very succeeded combination with the Genesis styled 'A trick of the tale' and Tangerine Dreams 'Cyclone' period.Lots of fat mellotron sounds together with some sequencer parts with occasional vocals. It was around in shops 30 years ago,but it seems to be a forgotten item by most collectors.Maybe one of the most underrated items from the German scene. It seldom turns up in catalogues and it seems nobody is looking after this record.Musically it beats a lot of bigger tickets in quality.A little bit pompeous and bombastic music, but well done compositions and fairly high musicianship. It certainly deserves a bigger audience and I think it will...when musiccollectors starts to discover how good this is.
