Tennis Court is a solemn reflection on Lorde’s then-upcoming fame. It uses a darker backing than Royals, with even more electronic flairs embedded. The music video is a one-shot, static shot of Lorde staring in the camera, with her only lip-syncing to the word yeah. The fanciest thing about it is her gothic get-up and light flares. When asked about the meaning, she said

I'm surprised this is suddenly fetching huge prices. I got mine for $5 or so when it came out, and while it's a charming pair of songs, they aren't anything special.

Golkis
Contact me please if anyone is willing to sell this vinyl

Phain

Can someone post more photos of the New Zealand 7" vinyl version with the above "L" on the front artwork if they own it? I know the "L" artwork was initially used for the digital release of the song, but all the 7" releases I have seen do not have the "L" artwork, but instead says "Lorde" "Tennis Court"

Obong
Does this NZ version actually have the above artwork?? or is it exactly the same as the US promo 7"?

wanderpool
I have this, it's the above art work but says "Lorde" "Tennis Court" rather than just an L on the front. happy to post pics if you want me too
