Preacher, Volume 1 book. Jessie proves to be a rather unusual preacher, a hard-drinking and dangerous man with a violent past. He has questions for God and is unsure what to do with his newfound power. The whole thing is off-beat and addictive. The art is well done and supports the story. When I finished I immediately wanted the next one. It's a series with gallons of potential. My experience reading on is that it goes gradually downhill but even by book 6 it's still a fun read.
