Album Name First Long Player.

The Boomtown Rats is The Boomtown Rats' debut album and included the Rats' first hit single, "Lookin' After No. 1", as well as the subsequent single, "Mary of the 4th Form" Contents. All lyrics written by Bob Geldof, all music arranged by The Boomtown Rats. Lookin' After No. 1". "Neon Heart". Joey's on the Street Again".

The album’s title track came to life in a moment of pure spontaneity. There were a couple of rats in the basement of the studio, where all the amplifiers were, and at one point Norm said to us, ‘Let’s get rockin’, we can scatter the rats,' Sparks recalls. Scatter The Rats embodies everything that made the band so iconic in the first place-the distortion-heavy riffs and headbanging rhythms, sludgy grooves and indelible melodies.

The album will arrive on June 8, adding 10 new hymns to the Ghost canon and you can watch the video for the first single, "Rats," below. Musically, it falls more in line with the band's first album as it's a riff-centric track, though instead of imbuing Blue Oyster Cult vibes, it leans more toward the '80s. It also introduces a harsh rasp in the chorus as new vocalist Cardinal Copia makes his mark on Ghost's sound. The video doesn't disappoint either and is quite theatrical, bringing to mind Michael Jackson's iconic "Thriller
