"How to Measure the World" was released as the third single from "International." Prior to the EP's release, the LP mix of the title track was released to Soundcloud using the art ultimately featured on the EP. The other three tracks included on the EP are material from the "International" sessions that were either unfinished or cut from the final release. The song "Travel" was initially just over a minute in length using more or less the same instrumentation heard in the released version, but featuring vehicle sound effects throughout. The version heard on this EP differs from the ones on the "Underground/Overground" EP, which were further expanded with newly added parts and in the instance of the French edition, newly recorded lyrics. "Metropolitan" was meant to be included with the "International" album until it was replaced with "Automatique." The instrumental "Fahrstuhlmusik" was to have closed out the album, having been preceded by a version of "Spacecadet" similar to the version heard in the video and on the "Underground/Overground" EP. When the song was remixed and rewritten in German, "Fahrstuhlmusik" was swapped out for "It Doesn't Bother Me."
