A trio of tunes, Cafard, Bowm Bowm Bowm and the title track come closest and are excellent additions to the Hardy catalog. The remainder of the album is a bit of a shocker. Francoise goes country pop! From the first guitar riffs of L’eclairage it’s obvious that something quite different is taking place.

It would be nice to lay the blame with some wrongheaded producer, but actually Hardy wrote almost all of the material herself. Yet it's not entirely dismissable. The most pop-oriented," the title track, and the gorgeous "Bowm Bowm Bowm"-are delicately tuneful and sensitively performed, even if they're incongruous with the rest of the album.

Artist: Françoise Hardy. Also performed by: Étienne Daho. Translations: English, Finnish, German, Hindi, Spanish. L'air sera tiède et léger. Et si tu ne le comprends pas. Très vite tu me reconnaîtras. Car moi je deviendrai méchante. J'épouserai une tourmente. Pour te faire mal et te faire froid. L'air sera désespéré. Et si pourtant tu nous oublies. Il me faudra laisser la pluie.
