Mainliner: Wreckage From the Past is a collection of early recordings by Social Distortion. It was released on July 18, 1995, and contains songs which were recorded in 1981. It is a collection of singles and B-sides that had never appeared on any of the band's full-length albums (except for "Moral Threat" and "All the Answers"). This album was released by Mike Ness' Time Bomb Recordings (distributed by Arista Records) in 1995 along with the re-release of Mommy's Little Monster and Prison Bound.

Social Distortion’s second album arrived in 1988, a full five years after their debut. Mike Ness’s Johnny Cash and Rolling Stones influences would figure in the band’s evolution from raw Orange County punk to the direction that would ultimately define their sound. Mainliner (Wreckage From The Past) (Clear Translucent Vinyl). Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll (Gold Translucent Vinyl).

Social Distortion is the eponymous third studio album by the American punk rock band Social Distortion, released on March 27, 1990 through Epic Records, their first recording on that label. The album furthered the rockabilly, blues and country music experimentation of their previous album with songs like "Drug Train" and the radio hit "Ball and Chain". The focus on the alternative rock scene helped bring attention to Social Distortion

Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell. White Light White Heat White Trash.

Although this album was released in 1995, all the songs were originally recorded in 1981, but many of them never appeared on an actual full-length album. Moral Threat" and "All The Answers" would be recorded again for the band's 1983 debut album Mommy's Little Monster. Justice For All" would be recorded again for their 1988 album Prison Bound as "It's The Law".
