The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle is the soundtrack album of the film of the same name by the Sex Pistols. By the time the soundtrack was being prepared, Johnny Rotten (Lydon) had left the band and refused to participate in the project, so the "proper" Sex Pistols tracks were done by taking Lydon's vocals from the October 1976 demo session recordings and rerecording their instrumental tracks (done by Paul Cook and Steve Jones).

Rock 'n' Roll Music is a compilation album by The Beatles that consists of previously released Beatles tracks considered by many to be quintessential "rock and roll".

Rock 'N' Roll Suicide (оригинал David Bowie). Time takes a cigarette, puts it in your mouth. You pull on your finger, then another finger, then your cigarette. The wall-to-wall is calling, it lingers, then you forget. Ohhh how how how, you're a rock 'n' roll suicide. Don't let the milk float ride your mind. You're so natural - religiously unkind. Oh no, love, you're not alone.

Zeppelin's unforgettable first album cover, and the clever, semi-surreal echo of that classic in David Juniper's design for Led Zeppelin II. The black-and-white artistry of Revolver and, less than a year later, the hypnotic, color-saturated chutzpah of Sgt. Pepper's.

Rock, Rock, Rock! was subtitled Alan Freed: The King Of Rock’n’Roll. Though it is a rather weak film, it is notable for being sprinkled with 21 performances by early, popular rock’n’roll singers and groups. Among the best songs are ‘Tra La la’ by LaVern Baker, ‘You Can’t Catch Me’ by Chuck Berry, ‘Lonesome Train’ by The Johnny Burnette Trio and ‘I Never Had A Sweetheart’ by Connie Francis. The film also featured ‘I’m Not A Juvenile Delinquent’ by Frankie Lymon and his backing group, The Teenagers, whose song ‘Why Do Fools Fall In Love’ was such a memorable hit that year. Jailhouse Rock (1957). Though most of Elvis Presley’s film work was done in the 60s, the real King Of Rock’n’Roll made five films in the 50s, the best of which are arguably King Creole and Jailhouse Rock.

A rather dark Rock n Roll track, this one by Neil Young portrays a paradoxical world, where some of us get all the success, while the rest toil for life and drag on without any respite. The lyrics I see a woman in the night, with a baby in her hand, under an old street light, she hates her life, and what she’s done to it, itself speaks volumes about another section of the society. And, even in this pain, Neil brings out the best of his electric guitar playing skills. He effortlessly takes every listener on a remorseful Rock n Roll ride.

Naming an album after an entire genre of music is pretty ballsy, as it sets the bar high for the group. In a press release, Buckcherry vocalist Josh Todd talks about the title: There’s been so much talk about how rock ‘n’ roll is dead and all of this bullsh-t. The funny thing is, that’s been going on since we put out our first record in 1999. We wanted to call the new album Rock ‘n’ Roll because this is what we’ve been doing our whole lives. We focused on making a record that encompasses all of what we are. You get every flavor of Buckcherry.
