Unending Degradation by Krypts, released 19 February 2013 1. Introeon: Perpetual Beyond 2. Blessed Entwinement 3. Open the Crypt 4. Dormancy of the Ancients 5. Inhale. 6. The Black Smoke 7. Day of Reckoning 8. Beneath the Archaic. Krypts are a darkened doom like no other, never forgetting that speed keeps it alive and interesting. They’ve become one of my fav bands indeed a void so black you forget what senses are anyway. OyO DooM OccultA Pourquoi j'aime cet album? hummm peut-être car c'est l'album de death/doom le plus intense que j'ai entendu! Tout est excellent dans cet album merci Krypts! Hate d'écouter votre prochain maléfice! Matthew Toye

Unending Degradation’ is an album of good quality. It’s a good example of orthodoxy put to the right end, and more bluntly, a case of where one puts the key in the right door. If ‘Open The Crypts’ and ‘Krypts’ were teasers into the putrid make of death metal this band was about to churn out then ‘Unending Degradation’ is the full monty of unabashed, rancid death metal that if I may be completely honest may have surprised many of fan of this band including me as something this heavy and lumbering was not expected.

Unending Degradation is the first studio album by Finnish death metal band Krypts. It was released on 19 February 2013 through Dark Descent Records. Otso Ukkonen - Drums, guitars. Ville Snicker - Guitars. Antti Kotiranta - Vocals, bass, lyrics. Timo Ketola - Cover art, additional artwork (Entwinement & Exhale), layout, logo. Otso Ukkonen - Recording, mixing. Samu Salovaara - Additional artwork (The Eye & The Urn).

If Unending Degradation could be summed up in two words, they would be murky filth. In most other genres, such a designation wouldn’t necessarily be the best kind of compliment, but in the department that Finland’s Krypts operate in it is an admirable trait. They have made small waves in the underground since their 2009 demo Open the Crypt, and what praise has been hurled their way has been entirely justified.

Majestic & Majestic old school Death Metal album with Elements of Doom. 5

Might be one of the best (only?), and seamless marrying of doom/black/death metal I've heard. Will probably appeal to fans of doom/black metal, more than purist DM fans. 4.5
