Scattergun - Dead or Alive Songtext. Where do we go From here where we stand The genealogical command A vacant dream A puppet, a machine This is the modern way to be And what we see A world wide surgery The building of a creature A dried out creature And we try to understand Try to understand That part of our lives's mortality. €šCause we're dead or alive It's the question How to survive.

Dead Alive is the fourth album by the Christian metal band, Soul Embraced. It is the first and last album to feature rhythm guitarist Devin Castle, and the last to feature drummer Lance Garvin. Giving the album an eight out of ten from Cross Rhythms, Peter John Willoughby states, "The lyrics are bound to unsettle, but you have to bear in mind that this is for the death metal scene and will not be suitable for an impressionable young teenager.
