The band originally called this track "Lunatic" during live performances and recording sessions.

The lunatic is on the grass The lunatic is on the grass Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs Got to keep the loonies on the path The lunatic is in the hall The lunatics are in my hall The paper holds their folded faces to the floor And every day the paperboy brings more. And if the dam breaks open many years too soon And if there is no room upon the hill And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too I'll see you on the dark side of the moon  . The grass is always greener on the other side" is not really true including inside our fence line. Life isn’t always so simple. We are constantly fogged by our brain and our thoughts. And just when you think you have reached a state of happiness all it takes is one thought to bring you down. So when people say happiness is a state of mind, I couldn’t agree more, you don’t get to choose your happiness but you get to choose the thoughts in your brain that you listen to and those you choose to ignore.

The mind always tries to trick you into thinking that the grass is greener anywhere else but where you are. So I’ve found my mind doing that as well. It sometimes dwells on India as though that time was somehow better than the life that I lead now. But that’s only a trick. This is how the mind works, making people always chase after something they don’t have, and not appreciate the things that are right in front of them. It’s sometimes tough for me because of this tendency of the mind. The law of compensation is always at work. Anywhere you are, there will be an equal mix of good and bad. But you sometimes focus only on the bad, and sometimes only on the good, so you may miss this inescapable law. For example, many Indians dream of living in the US and see India as an undeveloped country to flee from if at all possible. They chase this dream hard.

Brain damage or brain injury (BI) is the destruction or degeneration of brain cells. Brain injuries occur due to a wide range of internal and external factors. In general, brain damage refers to significant, undiscriminating trauma-induced damage, while neurotoxicity typically refers to selective, chemically induced neuron damage.

The grass always look green from afar. Only when you go closer will you realize that it is not so. Similarly this proverb simply goes to say that one must always be content with what one has and not keep comparing it with what others have. When we are not happy with what we have, then what the other person possesses always looks better. Only when we place ourselves in their position will we realize that everyone has their own set of problems and difficulties. Raj had always dreamt of working in the USA. It was his long time ambition to study abroad and also find employment there
